We accept any type of doula clients, but specialze in the following HIGH RISK patients:

VBACS - Vaginal Birth After Cesareans, 
Geriatric Moms - 35 yrs old +, 
Gestational Diabetes, Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes

Your Doula

Queen Refinement is a native of Spartanburg, SC. She is a mom to 4 children & soon to be another. Ceri 23, King 16, Mari 11, Rah 6 & baby Love whom is due March of 2024. She also has two bonus children via her husband, Jah.

She has over 18 years of healthcare experience and over 10 years of Wellness & Fitness experience as a Certified Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor. She served our country for 5 years as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. She holds her B.A. In Psychology w/ a concentration in Mental Health and is currently studying for her Masters in Public Health. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor, Mental Refinement Strategist & the owner of The Refinement Sanctuary Hot Yoga Studio in Roebuck, SC.

She strives to assist & support others on their journeys of becoming the best version of themselves through the practices of mindfulness, yoga & the art of stillness.

Her plan is to combine this knowledge & information with her previous education and use it all to provide physical, emotional, & informational support to mothers and birthing families before, during and after a birth takes place.

The Why???

I have a passion to assist other mothers during their pregnancy, birthing and postpartum journey because I know from 1st hand experience what it’s like to feel as if you don’t have a voice in your own birthing experience due to lack of knowledge, information, resources and/or support. ~Queen Refinement
